数字金融促进产业结构升级的效果和机制研究
Research on the effect and mechanism of digital finance in promoting industrial structure upgrading

Abstract
This paper uses the panel data of 295 prefecture level cities from 2011-2021 to calculate the industrial structure upgrading index of prefecture level cities,and uses two-way fixed effects to study the impact of digital finance on industrial structure upgrading.The research results indicate that firstly,digital finance significantly promotes the upgrading of industrial structure,and the effect is significant in both quality and quantity dimensions.This result is robust when using instrumental variable regression and sub indicators of digital finance,namely coverage breadth and usage depth.Secondly,heterogeneity analysis reveals that digital finance has significantly promoted the upgrading of industrial structure in the central and western regions,providing impetus for achieving inclusive growth.In cities with high levels of traditional infrastructure,the role of digital finance in promoting industrial structure upgrading is stronger than in cities with low levels of traditional infrastructure.Thirdly,financing availability,consumption upgrading,and technological innovation are important mechanisms for digital finance to promote industrial structure upgrading.Based on this,it is recommended to strengthen the construction of digital finance,improve financing accessibility,assist in consumer upgrading,support technological innovation,especially to enhance the level of digital finance construction in the central and western regions,so that digital finance can effectively play a promoting role in industrial structure upgrading.关键词
