Discussion on Design Considerations for Affordable Rental Housing in Xiamen City
摘要
Abstract
In recent years,Xiamen City has introduced a series of policy documents and measures to accelerate the supply of affordable rental housing,aiming to meet the housing needs of new residents and young people.However,while striving to comprehensively achieve the goal of"housing for all"for the middle and low-income groups,the architectural design of affordable rental housing still faces challenges,such as being disconnected from local realities,insufficient adaptability of floor plans,and overlooking the characteristics of the target population.These issues make it difficult to meet the diverse and changing housing needs of the residents in the long term.Based on this,this paper takes several affordable rental housing projects in Xiamen as examples to explore the design considerations in terms of local planning indicators,floor plan adaptability,and target population characteristics.It is hoped to provide some reference experience and value for the architectural design of affordable rental housing in this city.关键词
