焙烧和氯化钙改性对硅藻土调湿性能的影响
Effect of roasting and calcium chloride modification on the moisture regulating properties of diatomaceous earth

Abstract
The low-grade diatomite humidity-regulating materials were prepared by calcining low-grade diatomite and modifying it with calcium chloride.To investigate the influence of the calcination process and modification conditions on diatomaceous earth,the modified diatomite before and after calcination was characterized by X ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,scanning electron microscope,energy dispersive spectrometer,automatic specific surface area and porosity analyzer.The related results suggested that the organic impurities in low-grade diatomite were removed by calcination,while the specific surface area was increased from 16.95 to 17.46 m2/g and the moisture release rate was increased from 7.80%to 12.97%,indicating the moisture release ability was improved.Furthermore,the modification process with calcium chloride showed that,with the calcium chloride particles coating the surface and pores of diatomite,the moisture absorption rate was increased from 18.02%to 100.92%,which significantly enhanced the moisture absorption ability of diatomaceous earth.关键词
