Abstract
Daqing Oilfield is an important oil and gas production base in China.To fulfil the significant entrustment by Xi Jinping,General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,a strategic deployment is launched to expedite the upward growth of"the second curve".Implementation of this strategic plan requires con-certed effort to develop historical initiative,clarify historical position,grasp historical perspectives and strengthen historical responsibility,thereby transitioning from a glorious history to a promising future.This paper expounds the great significance of speeding up the upward growth of"the second curve"through high-quality development.It dia-lectically analyzes the realistic conditions for pursuing high-quality development in the new era and outlines the ba-sic principles to be followed.Seven major tasks and measures are presented aiming at fostering the effective improve-ment of quality and reasonable growth of quantity,and expediting the construction of a world-class modern centenni-al oilfield.关键词
