Abstract

Objective To analyze the differences in various language behavioral abilities between children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD)and those with non-ASD language developmental delay,aiming to provide reference for clinical nursing.Methods Clinical data of 98 children diagnosed with ASD and 122 children with non-ASD language developmental delay from January 2020 to December 2022 were retrospectively collected.Age,gender,ABC Scale,and S-S Scale scores were compared between the two groups.SPSS version 22.0 was used for statistical analysis,including univariate analysis and multivariate binary logistic regression analysis for items with statistically significant differences in univariate analysis.Results Univariate analysis showed no statistically significant difference in age between the two groups.However,gender,S-S communication attitude ability,S-S operational subject ability,S-S language compre-hension ability,S-S language expression ability,and ABC total score showed statistically significant differences(all P<0.05).Multivariate binary logistic regression analysis was performed on the six items with differences between the two groups,including gender,S-S communication attitude ability,S-S operational subject ability,S-S language compre-hension ability,S-S language expression ability,and ABC total score.The results showed that S-S communication atti-tude ability and ABC total score were independent influencing factors for distinguishing between the two groups(both P<0.05),with poor S-S communication attitude and higher ABC total score being risk factors.Conclusion S-S commu-nication attitude and ABC total score are independent influencing factors for distinguishing between children with ASD and those with non-ASD language developmental delay.Clinicians should be highly vigilant for ASD in children with poor S-S communication attitude and high ABC total score in clinical practice.
