摘要

Abstract

Lead and cadmium pollution seriously jeopardizes plant growth and human health.A strain of Pb-Cdresistant bacterium JB18 was screened and identified by 16SrDNA sequence analysis.The soil was treated with different Pb-Cd composite concentrations and planted with chicory to investigate the effects of JB18 on some physiological indexes of chicory seedlings.Changes in the mass fraction of soluble sugars,soluble proteins,glutathione,and proline were determined in chicory.The results showed that JB18 was identified as a Methylobacterium radiotolerans with a maximum resistance to lead and cadmium concentration of Pb-Cd(200/40)mg·L-1,and was able to hydrolyze starch and utilize maltose.The pot experiment showed that inoculation with JB18 could enhance the mass fraction of soluble sugar,soluble protein,proline and other substances in chicory seedlings,and at the same time,it could promote the synthesis of glutathione,and slow down the adverse effects of lead and cadmium stress on chicory seedlings.
