Advancements in the application of cardiac magnetic resonance for assessing pulmonary hypertension prognosis

Abstract
Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is characterized by a progressive increase in pulmonary vascular resistance,and early assessment of its prognosis is critical.Cardiac magnetic resonance(CMR)allows multimodal imaging of the heart and great vessels,including balanced steady-state free-flow(SSFP)sequence,feature tracking(FT)technique,T1 mapping,and four-dimensional flow(4D Flow),which can measure the volume and function of the cardiac chambers and provide information on the extent of myocardial fibrosis and hemodynamics.Artificial intelligence technologies such as imaging histology and deep learning further improve the accuracy and efficiency of the assessment and provide a reliable prognostic basis for clinical intervention.The progress of the clinical application of CMR in the prognosis of PH patients is reviewed.关键词
