Application of Intelligent Surveying and Mapping and Automatic Thickness Measurement Technology for Overhead Pipelines

Abstract
In order to solve the difficulty,long time and high cost of inspection for industrial pipeline laid overhead,an inspection device combining intelligent surveying and automatic thickness measurement is developed.The device makes intelligent surveying and mapping of the overhead pipeline with single line diagram,inputs the single line diagram into the automatic thickness measurement control terminal,automatically completes the wall thickness measurement of the metal pipeline according to the single line diagram,and saves the detection data by itself,realizing the wireless link between intelligent surveying and mapping and automatic thickness measurement.The engineering application results show that the intelligent surveying and mapping single line diagram is consistent with the manual surveying and mapping results,the length error of pipeline surveying and mapping is less than 0.16%,and the relative error of automatic thickness measurement is 0.25%,which meets the accuracy requirements of pipeline testing,and can be popularized in overhead pipeline testing.关键词
