The Medication Patterns of National Chinese Medicine Master Lin Tiandong in the Treatment of Type Ⅲ Chronic Prostatitis

Abstract
Objective:To systematically summarize the medication patterns and characteristics of national Chinese medicine master Lin Tiandong in the treatment of type Ⅲ chronic prostatitis.Methods:The formulas of some patients with typeⅢ chronic prostatitis treated by Lin Tiandong,a national Chinese medicine master at Hainan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2022 to June 2023 were collected,and the efficacy,properties,taste,and meridian tropism of high-frequency drugs in effective formulas were statistically analyzed.The original database was established by using Excel 2010 software,and descriptive statistical analysis was conducted by using SPSS 25.0 software.By analyzing Weka 3.8.6 software,potential correlation patterns between formula drugs were discovered,and a new combination formula was obtained by applying entropy hierarchical clustering method.Finally,Cytoscape 3.9.1 software was used to create a visual WebView of these association rules.Results:A total of 206 effective formulas of national Chinese medicine master Lin Ti-andong for the treatment of chronic prostatitis type Ⅲ were collected,involving 46 kinds of Chinese medicinals.The drugs used more than 150 times included 14 kinds of Chinese medicinals such as Huangbai(Cortex Phellodendri Chinensis),Cheqianzi(Herba Plantag-inis),Fuling(Poria),Kushen(Radix Sophorae Flavescentis),and Baimaogen(Rhizoma Imperatae),etc.The Analysis of drug efficacy was dominated by drugs that clear heat and dry dampness,followed by drugs that promote urination and clear urinary tract infections,di-uretic and edema-relieving drugs,and drugs that clear heat and detoxify.The drug nature was mostly cold,followed by neutral and warm nature.The taste of the drug was mostly bitter,followed by sweet,pungent,and bland.The meridian tropism was mostly the kidney me-ridian,followed by the liver meridian,stomach meridian,and bladder meridian.According to association rule analysis,Huangbo-Cheqian was the most supported drug pair,followed by Fuling-Huangbai,Fuling-Cheqianzi,Kushen-Huangbai,Kushen-Cheqianzi,etc.Based on this,an entropy hierarchical clustering method was used to analyze the data,resulting in the discovery of 5 new formulas.Conclusion:In terms of treatingⅢtype chronic prostatitis,National Chinese medicine master Lin Tiandong adopts the principle of clearing heat and dr-ying dampness,supplemented by inducing diuresis and relieving stranguria,purging heat and detoxification,promoting stagnation and dispersing blood stasis,etc.The drugs used are mostly cold,mild,warm,bitter,sweet,pungent,and bland,etc.关键词
