Determination of Aspirin by Nitrogen-doped Carbon Dot Fluorescence Enhancement Based on Hydrothermal Method

Abstract

Using salicylic acid as carbon source and ammonium carbonate as nitrogen source,a water-soluble nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots(N-CQDs)with blue fluorescence under 365 nm ultraviolet light were synthesized by a one-step hydrothermal method.The fluorescence quantum yield of the N-CQDs was 19.8%.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM)showed that the morphology of the N-CQDs was nearly spherical,and the average particle size was about 7.2 nm.X-ray electron diffractometer(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer(FTIR),ultraviolet spectrophotometer and fluorescence spectrophotometer were used to characterize the structure and properties of the composite.The experiment found that aspirin(ASA)had a sensitizing effect on the fluorescence of N-CQDs.Based on this,a rapid quantitative method for aspirin detection was established.The linear range was 0-80 μmol/L,and the detection limit was 0.046 μmol/L.The recovery rate was 95.3%-105.2%when the fluorescent sensor was applied to real samples.
