摘要

Abstract

To clarify the application status and limitation of lignin-based industrial wastes in geotechnical engineering,and to explore scientific methods and engineering measures to break through the existing lignin-improved soil technology,the paper,based on existing research,introduces the application status of lignin in geotechnical engineering,discusses the interaction mechanism between lignin and soil,and finally points out the key problems that need to be solved and the direction of further research.The results show that lignin improves the mechanical performance as well as the resistance against moisture intrusion of both sandy soils and clayey soils,significantly improving the toughness of the soil.The cementation effect of lignin is the fundamental reason for the improvement of the soil's microstructure and macro-engineering properties.Clarifying the mechanism of cementitious material generation is the key task for revealing the mechanism of soil improvement.The durability of lignin-stabilized soil in harsh environments needs to be enhanced,and the corresponding construction techniques and engineering protection measures are still insufficient.Further study can be focused on chemical modification of lignin to improve its cementation and durability,stress-strain characteristics of soil particle cementation and improved soil,and expanding the treatment targets of lignin in soil stabilization.
