Abstract
The present study aimed to identify the natural ventilation potential in Guangdong Province by employing the concept of roughness length from the perspective of aerodynamics.A ventilation index was derived using numerically simulated average horizontal wind field data in winter and summer,and the weighted combination of near-surface temperature and roughness length.It was found that the distribution of inter-city ventilation corridors is affected by seasonal thermal differences,with significantly better ventilation capacity in winter compared to summer.The ventilation evaluation results were categorized into four grades,and potential ventilation corridors were identified for winter and summer in Guangdong.关键词
