Constrained multi-objective optimization design study of shaped reflector antenna

Abstract
The design of shaped reflector antennas typically employs single-objective optimization algorithms.However,when the desired beam characteristics involve multiple conflicting objectives and constraints,it be-comes challenging to guarantee the attainment of the optimal solution.To address this issue,a constrained multi-objective optimization approach is proposed for the design challenges associated with such antennas.The novel dual-population cooperative evolution constrained multi-objective optimization algorithm,DPBE,is designed by incorporating the principles of promising area optimization and adaptive constraint shift-based density estimation.The proposed algorithm demonstrates exceptional global optimization performance and sta-bility,as evidenced by comparative experiments on benchmark test suites.Specifically,the DPBE is applied to the flat-top beam shaping of a 19~21 GHz single-offset parabolic reflector antenna.The performance com-parisons were conducted using the single-objective optimization algorithm IWO and the multi-objective opti-mization algorithm NSGA-Ⅱ-DE,considering different optimization models for an identical initial antenna.The results demonstrate that the proposed method successfully fulfills all constraints and attains optimal out-comes in a single execution.关键词
