Analysis on Fundamental Syndrome of Jueyin Disease in Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases Based on Theory of"Jueyin as Closure"

Abstract
"Jueyin as closure"was one of the theories of"opening,closing and pivoting"of the six meridians in Inner Canon of Huangdi,and Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases·Differentiation of Pulse and Syndrome Related to Jueyin Disease and Treatment improved clinical application of this theory.Based on the theory of literature and medicine of"Jueyin as closure",and according to the physiological characteristics of consolidating yin blood from overflowing,and subduing yang qi from reversing in the visceral system of hand Jueyin and foot Jueyin,it was concluded that this theory is mainly to receive yin qi,and is supplemented by soothing and reducing the ascending yang qi."Yin in property"is the material basis of"Jueyin as closure",which reflects the physiological characteristics of moistening and receiving extreme yin qi.However,"yang in function"is the functional manifestation based on"yin in property",which reflects the physiological characteristics of promoting yang qi production and assisting qi movement and transformation.It is the mechanism of"opening in closing",that is,the essence of the theory of"Jueyin as closure".Pathologically,this paper discussed the syndrome of Jueyin closing yin blood and syndrome of disturbance of yang qi rising from the syndromes of cold limbs,diarrhea and vomiting.We should distinguish which of the two syndromes is more important,and differentiate the primary and secondary of treating qi and blood in detail,so as to restore the mechanism of"opening in closing"of Jueyin,as well as better understand the pathogenesis of fundamental syndrome of Jueyin disease.关键词
