摘要

Abstract

Pulmonary nodules are small local lesions,and the patients are usually asymptomatic or only have mild discomfort.Ac-cording to the TCM theory,although pulmonary nodules grow locally,they are caused by the gradual disorders of qi,blood,and body fluid metabolism in the whole body,which is consistent with the concept of inflammation-cancer transformation.According to the concept of inflammation-cancer transformation,malignant pulmonary nodules can be treated by stages from qi and body fluid.Specif-ically,the treatment should aim at resolving phlegm and eliminating dampness at the early stage of transformation,activating blood and alleviating edema at the middle stage of transformation,and removing cancer toxin at the late stage of transformation.The treat-ment methods of replenishing qi,regulating qi,and transforming qi should be selected with consideration to the patient's physical constitution and syndrome to delay or even block the deterioration of pulmonary nodules.
