Alzheimer's Disease and Traditional Chinese Medicine Research from Perspective of Gut-brain Axis
摘要
Abstract
As the most common disease of neurodegeneration,Alzheimer's disease(AD)has become one of the major public health problems in the world and has received more and more attention.At present,there is no method to cure AD,and existing methods mainly focus on improving symptoms,delaying the process,and prevention.Studies have found that there is a high degree of bidirectional communication between the brain and the intestine,and both the neuroendocrine and nervous systems are signifi-cantly affected by microorganisms,thereby regulating brain function and individual behavior.Therefore,the bidirectional regulation of the gut-brain axis is attracting more and more attention in the field of neuroscience.A lot of evidence has shown that the gut-brain axis is involved in the development of AD and affects many aspects of AD.The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)research on AD has also made new progress.关键词
