Abstract
Objective:To explore the influence of health education and dental intervention on the oral health status of orthodontic patients.Methods:160 patients who received orthodontic treatment in the Orthodontics Department of Nantong Stomatological Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were randomly and double-blind divided into observation group and control group,with 80 patients in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,while the observation group was given health education and oral intervention.The oral health status、complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:The comparison of PLI and GI between the two groups before intervention was,P>0.05;Compared with the control group,the PLI and GI of the two groups were lower in the observation group,P<0.05.The incidence of orthodontic complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,P<0.05.The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:Health education and oral specialist inter-vention can effectively improve patients'oral health,reduce the risk of complications and improve nursing satisfac-tion.关键词
