Research progress on aerobic composting technology of kitchen waste

随着人们生活水平的提高及城市化进程加快,垃圾产生量逐年激增,其资源化处理已成社会共识.好氧堆肥作为厨余垃圾资源化的主要方式,具有巨大的研究潜力和研究前景.好氧堆肥处理厨余垃圾有助于土壤固碳,降低大气CO2含量,更可获得有机肥料,符合目前"碳中和"和化肥减量化的政策.基于此,本文总结了好氧堆肥基本机制及微生物菌剂的作用,并对厨余堆肥腐熟度的评价和相应的肥料应用进行了综述.堆肥方式、含水率、碳氮比、通气量、温度和辅料种类等会影响厨余堆肥的效果,未来应进一步优化工艺,在发酵时间和处理成本之间获得最佳的平衡,不断完善堆肥产品腐熟度的评价指标,加强厨余垃圾有机肥的肥效评估.

With the improvement of living standard and the acceleration of urbanization,the amount of waste generated keeps increasing year by year,thus the demand of proper treatment and recycling has become a social consensus.Aerobic composting of kitchen waste,as a main approach for its resource utilization,has demonstrated great research potential and prospects.Such treatment can not only help fix carbon in soil and reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide content,but also provide organic fertilizer.In other words,this aerobic composting technology is in line with the current policy of"carbon neutralization"and chemical fertilizer reduction.In this review,we first described the basic mechanism of aerobic composting and the function of microbial agents,then summarized the effects from the following factors:composting method,water content,carbon nitrogen ratio,air ventilation,temperature,types of auxiliary materials and so on.Finally,we expounded how to evaluate the maturity of kitchen waste compost and presented the corresponding fertilizer application.In the future,process optimization will be critical for balancing the fermentation time and treatment cost.Meanwhile,the corresponding evaluation of both compost maturity and organic fertilizer efficiency is also important for the aerobic treatment of kitchen waste.
