Abstract
Pine wilt disease,a devastating disease of pine plants and an internationally recognized ma-jor forest natural disaster,is a systematic infection caused by the pine wood nematode(Bursa phelen-chus xylophilus).Wuzi Mountain is characterized with tens of thousands of tall and verdant ancient trees(Pinus bungeana)classified Level 3 protection species.Since P.bungeana in Wuzi Mountain was infected by pine wood nematode,the ancient tree groups of P.bungeana are in danger,and the large forest landscape is destroyed,which poses a serious threat to the forest vegetation and ecological security of Wuzi Mountain and even Qingling—Bashan Mountains and the surrounding area.Accord-ing to the investigation results of Wuzi Mountain and the"Pine Wilt Disease Control Technical Plan"(2022 edition),all dead pine trees in Wuzi Mountain were removed and measures for protection were adopted such as burning dead wood nearby,chemical spray and film coating treatment of stump.Quality standards for removing infected wood were applied to ensure the effectiveness of clearing of in-fection.In addition,the number of dead P.bungeana and the population density of Monochamus al-ternatus,the vector of pine wood nematode,were effectively reduced by chemical spraying and trap-ping M.alternatus adults.关键词
