Abstract
With the rapid development of urbanization,the safety and comfort of the pedestrian bridge,the important component of urban transportation infrastructure,has been received increasing attention.Due to historical reasons,the early construction of pedestrian bridges has many problems such as immature design concepts,single structural shapes,and insufficient humanized facilities.The original structure has significantly aged and seriously affected the pedestrian experience and safety.Therefore,upgrading and reconstruction of pedestrian bridges has become an im-portant issue in current urban transportation development.Based on the upgrading and reconstruction of pedestrian bridge pilot project in Chengdu,the usage status,structural performance,and existing problems of the pedestrian bridge are deeply analyzed by on-site research,and the necessity and urgency of upgrading and reconstruction are revealed.Subsequently,the key pointsare clarified,and the design schemes are analyzed in detail.Finally,the ap-plication effect of the design scheme is further discussed and reflected in order to provide a useful reference for the upgrading and reconstruction of urban pedestrian bridge in the context of the park city demonstration area.关键词
