Clinical outcomes of frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles of euploid blastocyst derived from frozen-thawed cleavage embryos

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical and neonatal outcomes of the frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles of euploid blastocysts derived from frozen-thawed cleavage embryos undergoing blastocyst formation for preimplantation genetic testing(PGT)and re-cryopreservation,in order to provide a basis for clinicians and patients. Methods:Data of patients who underwent blastocyst biopsy and re-thawing transfer after blastocyst formation from thawed cleavage embryos in Reproductive Center of Northwest Women's & Children's Hospital from January 2017 to October 2022 were collected as experimental group(n=13).The women's age at the time of oocyte retrieval,the grade of blastocyst transferred,the indication and category of PGT were taken as matching factors for a 1:3 pairing.Matched patients with fresh blastocyst biopsy and transfer after thawing in the same period were selected as the control group(n=39).Clinical baseline characteristics,pregnancy and neonatal outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results:Clinical baseline characteristics,clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate were similar between the two groups(P＞0.05).There were no significant differences in obstetric and neonatal outcomes between the two groups(P＞0.05).No major obstetrical complications and neonatal malformations were reported in the two groups. Conclusions:There were no significant differences in pregnancy rate,live birth rate and neonatal outcomes between the experimental group and control group,which provided patients with more options.关键词
