Abstract

In recent years,the flow of trains waiting to enter Sichuan and Chongqing has remained at a high level.Strengthening the transportation organization at the North Sichuan boundary and improving the utilization rate of the boundary are significant in increasing railway freight volume in the southwest region.After elaborating on the basic situation and current situation of transportation organization at the North Sichuan boundary,this paper analyzed the reasons for the technical station capacity shortage,channel capacity constraints,uneven traffic flow,further optimization of marshalling plans,easy backlog of traffic flow,inter-bureau train equipment,and locomotive operation in the transportation organization process at the North Sichuan boundary.Suggestions were proposed to improve the operational capacity of technical stations,optimize train marshalling plans,organize balanced transportation,avoid traffic backlog,unify inter-bureau train equipment,and optimize locomotive operation,thus smoothing the transportation organization at the North Sichuan boundary and supporting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual city economic circle in terms of transportation capacity.
