Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of locking plate for external fixator in the treatment of open tibial fracture in children.Methods A total of 90 children with open tibial fracture admitted to Shouguang People's Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into reference group(45 cases)and experimental group(45 cases).The reference group was treated with distal fibula plate for internal fixation,while the experimental group was treated with locking plate for external fixator.The rehabilitation indexes,the total incidence of complications,and the excellent and good rate of affected limb function were compared between the two groups.Results The fracture healing time and hospitalization time of experimental group were shorter than those of reference group,the total incidence of complications was lower than that of reference group,and the excellent and good rate of joint function at 6 months after surgery was higher than that of reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Locking plate for external fixator treating open tibial fracture in children has remarkable effect,which can promote rehabilitation and reduce complications,and is worth popularizing.关键词
