Abstract
A Study of Japanese Samurai Films is an academic monograph that comprehensively and systematically explores Japanese samurai films and is also a pioneering work on samurai film research both domestically and internationally.The monograph focuses on the entire history of Japanese samu-rai films for the first time and is based on rich and informative historical materials with a clear view-point and rich theories.The monograph uses diversified modes of criticism in response to differences in research content,reflecting the active and heterogeneous nature of the monograph's critical think-ing.关键词
