Two New Records of Butterflies in Henan Province
摘要
Abstract
From July 2021 to September 2023,a preliminary investigation of butterfly resources in urban and suburban areas of Xinyang city was carried out by using line transmutation method and inspection method.After sorting and identification,two new recorded butterfly species from Henan province were found in Zhenleishan Forest Park in Xinyang city and Damiaofan village in Tanjiahe township,Xinyang city,namely Euploea mulciber Cramer and Charaxes Bernardus Fabricius.The morphological characteristics were described in detail,and the reasons and significance of the distribution of newly recorded species were analyzed.The discovery of this new record species showed that it was necessary to further conduct a systematic investigation of butterfly resources in Xinyang city and even Henan province.关键词
