P.T.1288 Lines 7-8,the Annals of the Great Events of the Tubo Dynasty and History of Songtsen Gampo's Reign

Abstract
P.T.1288"Annals of the Great Events of Tubo Dynasty"lines 7-8 detail the historical e-vents surrounding Songtsen Gampo's brother Tsensong's distancing from him before to his ascent to power.Later texts barely describe this history at all and few of them even mention Tsensong.Despite having very little text,this article offers important historical resources for researching Tubo history.The original meaning of P.T.1288's lines 7-8 cannot be fully conveyed by the transla-tions and commentary due to the incompleteness of the first half of the text.The life story of Songtsen Gampo and the history of Tibet can be enhanced by additional analysis and interpreta-tion of the incomplete contents of this document given the variations in historical records and translations.关键词
