Influence of baffle plate on the structural strength of liquid hydrogen tank container tanks

针对液氢罐式集装箱在公路运输条件下,运载车辆加速、转弯、刹车时会导致内部液体大幅晃动,给罐体结构带来冲击,造成失效等问题,基于液氢罐式集装箱的防波板设置,建立了罐体和内部流体域全尺寸分析模型,分析了防波板、充装率及防波板数量对罐体薄弱位置应力的影响规律.结果表明:未设置防波板时,液体晃动会导致结构的应力水平提高20%;设置防波板可减小液体晃动程度,大幅降低流体冲击压力,最大可降低50%以上;设置防波板可降低由于液体晃动引起的应力增幅,其中3个薄弱位置最高可降低31.9%,52.8%和34.2%,有利于提高结构薄弱位置的使用寿命,并且在罐内均匀设置2块防波板时,对于降低罐体结构应力的效果最佳,是工程设计的优选形式.

Acceleration,turning,braking of liquid hydrogen tank containers will lead to violent shaking of the internal liquid under road transportation conditions,which will bring impact to the tank structure and cause failure in serious case.Based on the issue of setting up the baffle plate for liquid hydrogen tank,a full-scale analytical model of the tank and internal fluid domain was established to analyze the influence law of baffle plate,filling rate and the number of baffle plates on the stress at weak positions of the tank.The results show that when the baffle plate is not set up,the liquid shaking will lead to an increase of 20%in the stress level of the structure;Setting up baffle plate can reduce the degree of liquid shaking and greatly reduce the impact pressure of the fluid by more than 50%;The installation of baffle plate can reduce the stress increase caused by liquid shaking,in which the stress increase of the three weak positions can be reduced by up to 31.9%,52.8%and 34.2%,which is conducive to improving the service life of the structurally weak positions,and when two pieces of baffle plate are set up in the tank uniformly,the reduction effect of structural stress of the tank is the best,so it is the preferred form of engineering design.
