The Enlightenment to China from the Methods that the United States Used to Safeguard the Supply of Antimony
摘要
Abstract
The United States always pays great attention to its high external dependence on its antimony resources as its strategic role to the country.The U.S.government supports its domestic enterprises in developing overseas resources,restarting local resources development though it is very poor and strives to build a safe and reliable supply chain of antimony through various methods such as increasing efforts to exploration of reserves,government funding and committed procurement.The measures taken by the US government to safeguard its rare or scarce minerals have significant references to China.Drawing the experiences of the United States,to solve China's relatively rare or scarce strategic mineral resources issues,China should take multiple methods to form an important combination of protection measures,should focus on ensuring strategic requirements and supplement by the usual commercial needs,should take enterprises as the main elements and continue to provide strong policy or economic support,should emphasize on developing domestic resources to enhance internal security capabilities as the core,should emphasize key mineral cooperation with neighbor and friendly countries,should attach great importance to the recycling and comprehensive utilization of the recycled or renewable resources,and finally implement differential measures to China domestic markets to make the relevant role to safeguard the security of China's strategic metal minerals.关键词
