Abstract
Under the background of economic and trade globalization,booming development of global shipping industry and ship technology,there is no significant decrease in ship accidents.In order to study the correlation between general cargo ship accidents and the influencing factors,the paper adopts the data retrieval method to analyze general cargo ship accidents based on the ship accident statistics from 2013 to 2022 in the GISIS database in terms of ship type,accident grade,classification society,tonnage,time of accident as well as the immediate causes for accidents,aiming to reveal the influence of major factors on accidents of general cargo ships and provide reference for the decision making of the shipping community.关键词
