Abstract
This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of fire resulted from the open fire operation in the cargo area of ships carrying general cargo,analyzes the main causes for such fires,and puts forward the safety management suggestions for strengthening the fire risk prevention of open fire operation in the cargo area of ships carrying general cargo in view of the maritime administration experience and industry practice from the three regulation objects of the maritime administration,i.e.ship,fire operator and maritime administrative administration.关键词
