可穿透金属密闭壳体的磁电型甚低频通信系统设计
Design of a magnetoelectric VLF communication system for through-metal application
摘要
Abstract
Aims:This paper aims to design a very-low-frequency(VLF)communication system based on magnetoelectric sensors to solve the problem of wireless transmission into a metallic enclosure.Methods:The effect of communication distance,metal shell thickness,excitation frequency and conductivity on magnetic signal penetration was studied by establishing a penetration model within the metal enclosed environment.A VLF communication system based on the coil transmitter and the magnetoelectric(ME)receiver was constructed to verify the magnetic signal propagation behavior in the metal closed shell and the digital signal communication capability of this communication system in the metal closed environment.Results:In the 0.1 cm-thickness metal closed shell,the penetration behavior of the magnetic signal was consistent with the simulation results.The ASK signal with a maximum modulation rate of 400 b/s could be obtained at a transmission distance of 30 cm,and its maximum communication distance of effective signal transmission is 40 cm.Conclusion:The proposed VLF ME communication system can realize effective digital signal transmission in the metal shield environment,which provides the experimental basis for further application in industrial scenarios.关键词
