摘要

Abstract

Aims:This paper aims to design an industrial safety monitoring system based on the Zigbee network's received signal strength indicator(RSSI)ranging algorithm and environmental sensors,which can ensure the safety of workers in industrial areas.The system's functions mainly include real-time warning of workers entering prohibited areas,fire hazard alarms,monitoring of workers'physical conditions,and cloud platform control systems.Methods:The system combined multiple nodes to capture environmental interference parameters within the channel model.It employed a hybrid filtering algorithm in conjunction with the RSSI ranging algorithm to pinpoint workers'locations.Sensors were tasked with detecting potential hazards in the industrial area and assessing the health status of workers.The 4G DTU module facilitates controlled functionalities between the cloud platform and the system.Results:The ranging capability achieved an error rate of less than 10% within a 50 m radius,fulfilling the system's requirements for danger proximity alerts.Real-time monitoring was implemented for fire hazards and workers'health conditions.Conclusions:The system can precisely issue real-time alerts for unfolding hazards and for workers who venture into forbidden zones.These alerts are concurrently displayed on the cloud platform.Users can access and manage the system's status via mobile devices,providing a convenient and efficient interface.
