Abstract
AIM To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of biphenyldicarboxylate(DDB)in liver protection among chronic hepatitis B(CHB)patients with abnormal liver function,and to provide evidence for clinical practice.METHODS PubMed,Cochrane Library,Embase,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,WanFang database,VIP Journal Database and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database were searched systematically to collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of DDB in the treatment of CHB patients with abnormal liver function.2 researchers independently screened the literature,extracted data and evaluated the risk of bias in included studies.Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.4 software.RESULTS A total of 9 RCTs with 1 987 patients were included.The results showed that there was no significant difference in the alanine aminotransferase(ALT)normalization rate and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)normalization rate[RR=1.40,95％CI(0.99,1.97),P=0.06;RR=0.92,95％CI(0.81,1.06),P=0.26].No serious drug adverse reactions were reported in any of the studies.CONCIUSION DDB is as effective as other hepatoprotective drugs in reducing transaminase levels and liver protection with a good safety profile,which can be used in clinical practice.关键词
