Abstract
In this paper,SWOT analysis was used to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of applying traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in Europe.Based on the current status of international cooperation in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases with TCM under the background of"Belt and Road"Initiative,the development strategies were proposed,inclu-ding vigorously strengthening cooperation in scientific and technological innovation to promote the research,devel-opment and application of innovative products,accelerating the formulation of relevant international standards to open up a new path for the application of TCM to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in Europe,strengthening cultural exchanges and cooperation to enhance the influence of TCM,and strengthening cooperation in education and training to build up an international team of talents for the prevention and treatment of chronic dis-eases with TCM.关键词
