摘要

Abstract

African swine fever(ASF)is an acute,severe,and highly contagious infectious disease caused by African swine fever virus(ASFV),posing a serious threat to the global pig industry.ASFV genetic typing allows tracing the origin of epidemic viruses at the molecular level,understanding and interrupting potential transmission routes,which contributes to the prevention and control of ASF.Currently,the genetic typing of ASFV is mainly achieved by characterizing the B646L gene encoding the p72 capsid protein.Subsequently,ASFV with the same B646L genotype are further subdivided through several specific genetic marker genes,including the E183L gene encoding the p54 envelope protein,the I73R/I329L genes encoding virulence factors,the MGF505 9R/10R genes related to pathogenicity,and the B602L gene encoding the p72 protein molecular chaperone.These genetic typing methods are crucial for tracing virus origins and rapidly distinguishing closely related strains.This article briefly outlines several major ASFV genetic typing methods,aiming to provide references for ASFV diagnostic technologies and genetic evolution studies in China.
