加减葛根芩连汤对感染耐药性大肠杆菌雏鸡的治疗效果
Therapeutic Effect of Modified Gegen Qinlian Decoction on Chickens Infected with Drug-Resistant Escherichia coli

Abstract
To evaluate the therapeutic effect of modified Gegen Qinlian decoction on chickens infected with drug-resistant Escherichia coli,this study infected 4-day-old chicks with drug-resistant Escherichia coli.Six hours later,the chickens were orally administered low(0.125 mL/bird),medium(0.25 mL/bird),and high(0.5 mL/bird)doses of modified Gegen Qinlian decoction,Jin Xin oral liquid(Chinese medicine control group),enrofloxacin(Western medicine control group),and physiological saline(Infection control group and Blank control group)continuously for 5 days.The study calculated the survival rate and cure rate of chickens in each group,as well as their feed intake and water consumption,body weight and weight gain,and analyzed blood physiological and biochemical indicators and immune organ indices.The results showed that the 24-hour survival rates of chickens in the Low-,Medium-,and High-dose groups were 85%,80%,and 65%,respectively,significantly higher than those in the Chinese medicine control group(50%)and Western medicine control group(50%)(P<0.01);the 7-day survival rates and cure rates of chickens in the Medium-and High-dose groups were both 70%,significantly higher than those in the Infection control group and Western medicine control group(P<0.01);the average daily feed intake and water consumption of chickens in each infection group decreased significantly after infection,but recovered and stabilized after medication,with stable weight gain.Blood physiological and biochemical indicators showed that the white blood cell count in the Low-,Medium-,and High-dose groups was significantly lower than that in the Western medicine control group(P<0.05),and the average hemoglobin content was significantly higher than that in the Blank control group(P<0.01,P<0.001,P<0.01);the average red blood cell hemoglobin concentration in the Medium-and High-dose groups was significantly lower than that in the Blank control group(P<0.05),and the red blood cell distribution width coefficient of variation in the High dose group was significantly higher than that in the other groups(P<0.05);the creatinine content in the Low-,Medium-,and High-dose groups was significantly lower than that in the Western medicine control group(P<0.01).The results of immune organ indices showed that the bursa of Fabricius and spleen indices in the Low-and Medium-dose groups of infected chickens were significantly higher than those in the Western medicine control group(P<0.01),and the thymus index in the High-dose group was significantly higher than that in the Chinese medicine control group(P<0.05).The results indicate that different doses of modified Gegen Qinlian decoction have good therapeutic effects on chickens infected with drug-resistant Escherichia coli,with significantly better effects at medium and high doses compared to low doses.It shows potential as an alternative to antibiotics and provides theoretical support for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant Escherichia coli infections.关键词
