Research Progress in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Evaluation of Cranial Neurovascular Compression Syndrome
摘要
Abstract
Common manifestations of cranial neurovascular compression syndrome include trigeminal neuralgia(TN),hemifacial spasm(HFS),etc.Carbamazepine and Oxamazepine are the first choice for long-term treatment.Microvacular decompression(MVD)is the first-line surgery for refractory patients and is an effective way to relieve blood vessel pressure on nerves.Preoperative magnetic resonance imaging can observe the anatomical structure of the involved nerve,the source and status of the responsible blood vessels,and show the relationship between blood vessels and nerves.Using specific magnetic resonance sequences as part of the diagnostic examination for cranial neurovascular compression syndrome can detect possible neurovascular contact and rule out secondary causes,while proof of neurovascular contact can be used to facilitate surgical decision making.Based on magnetic resonance imaging,this paper reviews the pathological mechanism,clinical manifestations,anatomical basis and research progress of high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging sequences and multi-modal interactive magnetic resonance imaging technology related to cranial neurovascular compression syndrome,aiming to provide imaging basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment,alleviate pain for patients,reduce intraoperative complications,and improve patient prognosis.关键词
