Abstract
ChatGPT,a powerful auxiliary tool in medical education,possesses strong capa-bilities in language understanding and generation,providing ample space for promoting innovation and development of medical education and making a broad and profound impact on medical education.Be-cause ChatGPT encompasses a vast amount of information and extensive knowledge ranging from ba-sic sciences to clinical practice,it can provide comprehensive disciplinary training for medical stu-dents,fostering interdisciplinary thinking and enhancing overall competence.ChatGPT can assist and promote personalized learning,providing medical students with convenient and efficient learning meth-ods,supporting them in learning and mastering medical knowledge more effectively.It can also pro-vide a more realistic clinical practice experience by simulating doctor-patient dialogues,helping medi-cal students practice clinical communication and diagnostic skills.In addition,its openness can pro-mote balanced knowledge acquisition to a certain degree,facilitating the sharing and dissemination of advanced medical education resources.However,there are also issues such as insufficient accuracy of information,delay of update,overreliance,and privacy security concerns.Through analyzing both the positive impacts and negative effects of ChatGPT in medical education,this paper suggests that in fu-ture applications,attention should be paid to mitigating its negative impacts,which can be achieved through the involvement of medical professionals,continuous optimization and updating of models,in-creased technical transparency,playing teachers'supplementary roles,enhancing information review mechanisms,and strengthening privacy protection measures to promote the reliability and accuracy of its application.The paper advocates for the proactive and rational application of generative artificial in-telligence to facilitate the innovative development of medical education.关键词
