Abstract
The Mother River Recovery Action is a landmark initiative aimed at restoring the ecological environment of rivers and lakes that are closely related to people's well-being.The Ministry of Water Resources implemented the Mother River Recovery Action in 2022.Among the 88 rivers and lakes listed in the Mother River Recovery Action List(2022-2025),38 are located in the Haihe River basin.This paper introduces the achievements of the Mother River Recovery Action in the Haihe River basin,summarizes the experiences,and identifies current issues related to target standards,flow assurance,and institutional support.The study proposes measures to enhance the effectiveness of the Mother River Recovery by exploring the connotation of recovery,refining recovery targets,innovating recovery methodologies,and advancing intelligent technologies.These reflections aim to provide references for implementing river and lake recovery actions in North China and across the country.关键词
