Abstract
Objective To explore the accuracy of transabdominal ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, and their combination in diagnosing placenta previa in late pregnancy. Methods The 90 suspected late pregnancy placenta previa patients included were selected from the patients visited the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023.All selected patients were diagnosed by transabdominal ultra-sound and perineal ultrasound respectively after admission. The postpartum diagnostic results were used as the gold standard to compare the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and diagnostic accuracy of transabdominal, transvaginal, and their combination diagnosis for different types of placenta previa. Results Among 90 patients, postpartum diagnosis showed 60 positive and 30 negative cases, transabdominal diagnosis showed 49 positive and 24 negative cases, transvaginal diagnosis showed 51 positive and 26 negative cases, and combined diagnosis showed 59 pos-itive and 28 cases negative cases.Compared with individual diagnosis, combined diagnosis has higher sensitivity and accuracy, with P<0.05.The consistency rate of detecting placenta previa of individual diagnosis is lower than combined diagnosis, with P<0.05.Conclusion Both transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound have advantages and disadvantages in diagnosing placenta previa in late pregnancy. The combination of them can improve diagnostic accuracy and consistency.关键词
