Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of early basic umbilical cord care nursing on the incidence of neonatal umbilical cord infection and cord shedding.Methods 85 neonates born from January 2021 to June 2023 who met the requirements of the study were randomly selected and divided into two groups(42 cases in the control group and 43 cases in the experimental group)by blind selection lottery method.The control group was combined with routine neonatal nurs-ing,and the experimental group was combined with early basic umbilical cord care nursing.The proportion of neonatal umbilical cord shedding time,the mean value of umbilical cord shedding time,the quality of umbilical cord healing,and the incidence of umbilical cord infection of two groups were compared.Results The time of umbilical cord shedding and the proportion of umbilical cord grade A healing in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of umbilical ring swelling,umbilical blood oozing,and granuloma hyperplasia in experimental group was lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The clinical development of early basic umbilical cord care nursing can actively promote the shedding of newborn umbilical cord stump,reduce the risk of umbilical cord infection,and optimize the quality of wound healing after umbilical cord shedding.关键词
