Abstract
This paper mainly takes the folk culture,traditional new year painting art and regional culture of Liaocheng area as the research object,designs the theme illustration and application of traditional folk culture in Liaocheng,and discusses the value and significance of its design and application.The local folk customs were investigated and the visual symbols of Liaocheng's folk culture were extracted,and the traditional visual symbols were integrated into the illustration design,giving it a new connotation of the times and a modern form of expression.The research results are of great significance for the protection and inheritance of folk culture in Liaocheng area,as well as for promoting the innovation and development of folk culture.关键词
