Historical Logic,Realistic Thinking and Future Orientation of the Divergence of General Education and Vocational Education

Abstract
It is necessary to clarify the logic,dilemma and future orientation of the diversion policy of general and vocational education to ensure its good progress.From a historical logic perspective,the policy and practice of divergence of general education and vocational education should evolve in tandem with the alterations in society and vocational education.From the viewpoint of practical issues,the divergence of general education and vocational education confronts two practical predicaments:namely,general senior high school education and secondary vocational education are not equivalent,and the value of education and the value of skills do not align.From the perspective of future reforms,it is imperative to expedite the construction of the"vocational education college entrance examination"system,significantly augment the investment in secondary vocational schools,enhance the fundamental status of secondary vocational education,reevaluate the relationship between academic qualifications and skills,genuinely form the social notion that"vocational education and general education are of equal importance",and achieve the active distribution and coordinated development of general education and vocational education.关键词
