Research Progress on Chemical Constituents,Pharmacological Activities,and Clinical Application of Chinese Buckeye Seed
摘要
Abstract
Chinese buckeye seed is a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)with the effects of evacuating depression in the middle jiao,regulating Qi,harmonizing stomach,and relieving pain.Chinese buckeye seed mainly contains triterpenoid saponins,flavonoids,coumarins,indole alkaloids,fatty oils,and other components.Modern pharmacological studies have shown that Chinese buckeye seed has many pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammation,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor,and neuroprotection.With the in-depth research and development of Chinese buckeye seed,sodium aescinate,as its main active ingredient,is commonly used in the clinical treatment of stroke,lung diseases,gastrointestinal diseases,thyroid diseases,eye diseases,etc.In this paper,the chemical constituents,pharmacological activities,and clinical application of Chinese buckeye seed were reviewed to provide a reference for the research and development of Chinese buckeye seed products.关键词
