益气健脾汤治疗脾气亏虚型IGT患者的临床观察及对血糖变异系数的影响
Clinical Observation of Yiqi Jiangpi Decoction in Treating Patients with Spleen Qi Deficiency Type Impaired Glucose Tolerance(IGT)and Its Effects on Glucose Variability Coefficients

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Yiqi Jiangpi decoction in treating patients with spleen qi deficiency type impaired glucose tolerance(IGT)and its impact on glucose variability indices.Methods:Sixty patients with IGT(spleen qi deficiency type)treated from December 2023 to February 2024 at the Department of Endocrinology(Geriatrics)of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine were enrolled.Patients were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 30 patients each.Both groups received standard treatments including diet,education,and exercise.The control group additionally received acarbose capsules,while the treatment group received Yiqi Jiangpi decoction combined with the standard treatment.Both groups were treated for 6 weeks.We assessed fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial glucose(2hPG),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),glucose variability coefficient(GLUcv),glucose standard deviation(GLUsd),mean glucose(GLUmean),mean amplitude of glycemic excursions(MAGE),mean of daily differences(MODD),and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores before and after treatment,as well as follow-up outcomes at the end of the treatment period.Results:After 6 weeks of treatment,both groups showed significant reductions in glycemic indices,GLUsd,GLUmean,GLUcv,MAGE,and TCM syndrome scores(P<0.05).The treatment group demonstrated significantly lower glycemic indices,GLUsd,GLUcv,MAGE,and TCM syndrome scores compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Jiangpi decoction effectively improves symptoms in patients with IGT,regulates glucose metabolism,and reduces glucose variability,thereby delaying the progression to type 2 diabetes more effectively than lifestyle interventions and acarbose treatment alone.关键词
