Introduction to Professor Deng Fushu's Use of Jitongxiao for the Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation
摘要
Abstract
Lumbar disc herniation(LDH)is a significant cause of low back pain.Professor Deng Fushu,based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)theory regarding the physiological relationship of Qi,blood,and water in the lumbar region and the pathological connection of Qi stagnation,blood stasis,and water retention in LDH,believes that the primary pathogenesis of LDH involves Qi stagnation,blood stasis,and water retention.Therefore,the treatment should focus on promoting Qi circulation to alleviate pain,activating blood circulation to resolve stasis,and reducing water retention to alleviate swelling.By integrating TCM syndromes and the mechanisms of disease onset,Professor Deng developed a targeted medication called Jitongxiao Capsules.This formula has been clinically applied for over 40 years with proven efficacy.关键词
