针刺结合中药保留灌肠对溃疡性结肠炎的疗效及免疫功能的影响
Therapeutic Effects of Acupuncture Combined with Retention Enema of Chinese Herbal Medicine on Ulcerative Colitis and its Impact on Immune Function

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with retention enema of Chinese herbal medicine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(UC)and its impact on improving immune function.Methods:A total of 70 UC patients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mesalazine sustained-release tablets,while the observation group received additional acupuncture and TCM retention enema on top of the control treatment.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The levels of immune function indicators(CD3+,CD4+,and CD8+)and inflammatory cytokines(IL-1β,IL-23,and TGF-β1)were compared before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the levels of TGF-β1,CD3+,and CD4+significantly increased(P<0.05),while the levels of IL-1β,IL-23,and CD8+decreased in both groups(P<0.05).Furthermore,the observation group showed significantly higher levels of TGF-β1,CD3+,and CD4+and lower levels of IL-1β,IL-23,and CD8+compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Chinese herbal medicine retention enema can significantly improve immune function and reduce inflammation in UC patients.关键词
