The narrative style of Chinese path to modernization
摘要
Abstract
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has outlined a grand vision of comprehen-sively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese path to modernization,and constructed a u-nique narrative of Chinese path to modernization,which contrasts sharply with the discourse system of Western capitalist modernization.As a new path to modernization,Chinese path to modernization exhibits distinct pluralistic characteristics,such as strong party leadership,firm people-centeredness,clear goal orientation,and profound world significance.This path takes the construction of a discourse system as its expression form,and tells the story of China's social development through systematic narratives,aiming to convey specific cultural and value systems and further influence the operation and development of society.The narrative of Chinese path to modernization,which centers on Marxism and is rooted in Chinese civilization,represents a significant advancement in Marxist theory and a socialist modernization theory deeply informed by China's rich cultural heritage and historical experiences.This narrative encompasses multiple dimensions,systematically elucidating the diverse characteristics of China's modernization journey.It emphasizes active narration,underscoring the autonomy of the Communist Party of China in steering the modernization process;focuses on vivid narra-tion,illustrating the dynamic role of the people in this practice;reinforces historical narratives,highlighting the gradual and continuous progress of China's modernization;and values global narratives,clarifying the broader relevance of Chi-nese path to modernization.By exploring these diverse narrative characteristics,we can achieve a comprehensive and pro-found understanding of the essence and distinct features of China's modernization.This study not only enhances theoreti-cal insights but also provides practical guidance for advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.关键词
