中国式现代化进程中人民城市建设价值意涵和实践意涵探析
On the value and practice implications of people's city construction in the process of Chinese path to modernization

Abstract
In the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through the Chinese path to modernization,the construction of people's cities plays a pivotal role in China's urban modernization.This process,guided by the principles of the Chinese path to modernization,underscores both its value and practical implications.At the level of value implications,the construction of people's cities reflects several core values:serving the overarching strategic goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,emphasizing people-centered development,preserving and innovating upon the rich heritage of traditional Chinese culture and modern Chinese civilization,fostering self-confidence and self-improvement through revolutionary inheritance.On the practical front,the construction of people's cities embod-ies innovative practices,green and open development,shared development,integrated development and security.Through the practical application of the Chinese path to modernization,efforts are made to transform cities into showcases of systemic and institutional advantages,high-level platforms for complementary green and open development,and mod-em,beautiful homelands where prosperity and safety are ensured for all.These cities will inherit the best of traditional Chinese culture and integrate it into modern urban civilization,consciously steering away from the capital-centric materi-alism and spiritual decline often seen in Western urban development.Instead,they will create a new form of urban mo-dernity with Chinese characteristics,highlighting the superiority of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and serving as vital expressions of modern Chinese civilization.关键词
