摘要

Abstract

The Mooring Analysis software MIKE 21 was used to study the influence of the change in cable material on the motion and the strain on the cable of the moored oil tanker up to 150 000 DWT under the action of transverse wave and following wave.The results show that the three motions of moored oil tanker such as sway,surge and yaw decrease with the increase of cable stiffness under the condition of transverse wave.With the increase of cable stiffness,the surge of the moored oil tanker decreases and the pitch increases slightly under the condition of following wave and short incident wave period.However,the surge of the moored oil tanker increases and the pitch decreases with the increase of the cable stiffness under the condition of long incident wave period.The motions of roll,yaw and sway increases with the increase of cable stiffness,which changes within a small range.In addition,Heave does not change with cable stiffness under the above two conditions.
